You will not find a kinder, more generous pair than Amanda and Evan. They braved a February 25th wedding, and planned for cold, cold, cold. Yet - God winked on them with clear blue skies and the temperature magnificently stayed in the high 50s/low 60s!. (Though we were frequently embraced by strong gusty winds.) My favorite part of this day was when Evan reached around a brick corner to hold the hand of his soon-to-be bride. They wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other, but they took a quick breather to hold hands, hidden from one another, and connect. Evan nonchalantly began asking Amanda questions. “How are you?” “How has your day been?” “Are you ready for this?” By the sound of his voice, it was as if I was eavesdropping on a conversation over coffee. Yet, when I went to snap a photo - his eyes were brimming with tears. He was so set on making sure his bride was comfortable and at ease, but you could see it was taking everything in him not to show her how moved he was. It was a beautiful thing. Their love is radiant. I am honored to not only have captured their big day, but to have met them.
A huge shoutout to my amazing, consistent, hard-working second shooter Sam Panasyuk. He has such a tremendous gift, and I am honored to also display his images as well.
